Jonathan (JT) Thompson

Jonathan Thompson (JT) is the Head of Analytic Solutions at Abacus Insights. With over a decade of experience in the payer and provider space, JT is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's various data solutions and analytic services. Since 2014, he has been an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).

Prior to joining Abacus, JT led the Medical Economics team at Clover Health, providing analytic support to both the Network and Clinical departments for Medicare Advantage and ACO REACH (i.e., Original Medicare) lines of business. Earlier in his career at Horizon BCBSNJ, JT was the lead actuary supporting the development of value-based arrangements with key health system and provider groups. JT also has extensive expertise in medical & pharmaceutical trend analysis and risk adjustment for the Medicare Advantage and ACA markets.
