Kimberly Hansen serves as Senior Director, EMR Strategy & Contracting in the Clinical Technology Solutions division of Optum Insight. Kimberly has led the organization’s interoperability efforts delivering member specific data at the point of care since 2016. She is responsible for go to market efforts and adoption of the organization’s Point of Care Assist product, a suite of interoperable solutions including; quality gaps, prior authorization and cost transparency. Optum Insight is part of UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH), a Fortune 5 organization.
In her current role, Kimberly is responsible for managing the company’s EMR network with the top practice management systems, enabling the company’s bi-directional interoperability solutions She is responsible for implementing the organization’s first use case of a transaction-based solution imbedded in physician workflow through Practice Management System/EMR integrations known as PreCheck MyScript and is the recipient of Women’s Health Leadership Trust 2019 award for Innovation and Technology.
Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group in 2010, Kimberly held a variety of roles in the Health Care industry over a 25-year period including new business implementations and market expansions.
