Leona Brandwene, MAPP

Leona Brandwene is the Associate Director of Education at the Positive Psychology Center and provides oversight to the Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) program and the Applied Positive Psychology undergraduate certificate. She was the 2021 recipient of the UPCEA Mid-Atlantic Region Excellence in Teaching Award.
Leona serves on the Council of Advisors of the International Positive Psychology Association; is a scientific advisor for Trellus Health, an organization supporting the needs of individuals with inflammatory bowel disease; and is on the board of Shining Light, an organization that leverages positive psychology to build the well-being of incarcerated individuals. She has served as a coach/consultant for national health care performance improvement projects as well as employee wellness and community health initiatives.
