Michael Hoak

Mike Hoak serves as Vice President of Public Policy and has been with Humana for 11 years. In this role, Mike and his team work closely with senior leaders across the company to develop and support Humana's positioning on all legislative and regulatory issues. Mike also has primary responsibility for managing the company's relationship with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Prior to joining Humana, Mike served as public policy consultant for leading pharmaceutical companies, PBMs, pharmacies, drug wholesalers, medical device manufacturers, and physician trade organizations. Before entering the world of public policy, Mike taught American History at the College of William and Mary.
