Nancy-Ann DeParle

Nancy-Ann DeParle is Managing Partner and co-founder of Consonance Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on healthcare investments. She serves on the boards of HCA Healthcare (NYSE: HCA), several Consonance portfolio companies, the Duke University Board of Trustees, and the New York State Commission on the Future of Health Care.

A nationally recognized expert in healthcare policy and reform, DeParle served in the Obama Administration as Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy from 2011 to 2013, and earlier as Counselor to the President and Director of the White House Office of Health Reform, where she led the successful effort to enact the Affordable Care Act. Her public service also includes senior roles in the Clinton Administration as Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Associate Director at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), as well as Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Human Services. She began her career as a lawyer in private practice.
