Rena Cardenas

Rena Cardenas is the Assistant Vice President of Financial Clearance within the Revenue Cycle at MultiCare Health System. Rena oversees Pre Service (Pre Registration, Estimates and Insurance Verification/Authorization), Patient Financial Navigation and Patient Financial Experience Teams.
Rena has spent her 23 years at MultiCare in various leadership roles throughout the Revenue Cycle. Rena found her calling in Financial Clearance focusing on strategy and optimization opportunities of processes related to the financial clearance for both the patients being served at MultiCare and the system itself. Rena lives in University Place, WA where she is raising two teenagers, ages 17 & 13 with her husband of 20 years.
