Ritesh Kumar

Ritesh Kumar, PhD, is an Executive Director responsible for Virology, Immunology and Neurosciences at the Center of Observational and Real World Evidence at Merck & Co., Inc. Dr. Kumar is responsible for value evidence generation that involves assessing clinical, humanistic and economic outcomes of pharmaceutical interventions to support HTA and reimbursement at a global level. During the past 18 years at Merck, he has published several outcomes research studies and has been leading a team of researchers within Merck since 2010. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Mumbai, a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Administration from the University of New Mexico and a Ph.D. in Social and Administrative Pharmacy from the University of Michigan.
