Von Nguyen is the Clinical Lead for Public and Population Health at Google where he works on health applications for consumer devices, machine learning, and cloud products. Prior to joining Google, he was the Chief Medical Officer and SVP at Blue Cross North Carolina where he led value-based care transformation.
Von previously served in senior federal government roles at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. He volunteers as the Vice Chair of the Board for Heluna Health, a WIC and population health services provider. Von is a primary care physician and received his Medical Doctorate and Master of Public Health from the University of Texas. He trained in internal medicine at Columbia University and served as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer with the CDC.
